Midnight Manor Private Residence, Monday Evening

A Thanksgiving feast, even when just for two(ish) people, was still a feast, and thus had required both yesterday and today to be properly prepared. Most of the dishes were the same as last year: the main along with the side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. And yes, of course there were dinner rolls.

New this year was a soup and simple garden salad. Dessert was also the same as last year, with apple cake and butter tarts (along with a batch of the non-vegan variety that had been set aside for Marc).

"It looks fantastic," Watts said, surveying everything laid out on the dining room table. "Will you light the candles, then, while I go fetch us a bottle of wine?"

Encouraged by that sound, Watts moved his hand yet again, until he could feel Steven's length beneath the fabric of his trousers, stroking gently.

Amazingly, in spite of what they were doing, Steven made a sound of surprise when Llewellyn's hand reached its goal. Not an unhappy surprise though, as the way Steven immediately kissed Llewellyn harder clearly indicated.

They still had those dishes to put away, but funnily enough that was the furthest thing from Watts's mind as he kept the kiss going along with that stroking.

Likewise Steven's, since though he did make a needy whimper, it was not a whimper of wishing he was busy putting dishes into the dishwashing cupboard.

A whimper like that was practically a request, and Watts was not the sort to let it go unanswered, lazy strokes shifting to something more purposeful.

Did a higher pitched whimper count as a thank you? Because that's the sound Steven made when Llewellyn's hand got stronger. His hips moved forward, trying to seek out more of the touch.

Watts certainly seemed to think so, or at least he was pleased by that reaction, happy to do his best to provide what Steven was seeking.

Steven started to hold Llewellyn's tie tighter to keep him near. Then, dimly, realized he could run the risk of choking the love of his life if he did. He pulled enough away from the kiss to gasp, "Clothes."

Some people were in to the whole choking thing. Watts... was not one of those, so he appreciated Steven's, er. Restraint. For lack of a better word.

"Yes," he managed in agreement, because they were in fact still wearing those.

"Small break?" Steven suggested, though he was breathing heavily. "Dishes and - and clothing and upstairs?"

Perhaps not in that exact order.

And while Watts had stopped kissing, his hand had not stopped moving- until now. "I suppose," he agreed with a sigh.

Steven looked uncertain. "Did I say the wrong thing? What you were doing was wonderful, I promise."

"No, no, you're fine," Watts said. "I just- got a little caught up in the moment, is all."

"You're sure?" Steven asked. He relaxed all the same, knowing Llewellyn wouldn't lie. "Sorry. I worry I ruin the mood, you see. I wanted more of it, I promise. That's why I wanted to go upstairs."

"I am certain. You are correct, it will be much nicer in our bed, without the obstacle created by clothing," Watts said with a smile.

[hasaknightjob]

"All right then," Steven said. He smoothed down Llewellyn's tie. "Because you're very handsome and desirable, I promise."

"Mmm, and my dilemma was that I find you exceptionally desirable, and thus enjoy being the one to bring you pleasure."

[hasaknightjob]

"Yes. Well." Steven blushed. "Thank you. Erm - we could show each other? That? When we're upstairs?"

Steven was still not very good at dirty talk.

"Let us do that, then," Watts said, leaning in to place a very quick kiss- a peck, really, on Steven's lips. "Up with us."

"Right, me first," Steven said, sheepishly as he remembered. He untangled himself from Llewellyn so they could both get up. "Hard for you to stand with me on top of you."

"Though let it be noted it is a position I have no complaints about otherwise," Watts said as he unfolded himself from the couch.

[hasaknightjob]

"I found it rather comfortable," Steven agreed. He picked up his plate and teacup to bring into the kitchen. "Could do it again sometime, when we're not in need of going somewhere."

Like upstairs to their bedroom.

"I'd like that," Watts agreed, likewise collecting his dishes.

[hasaknightjob]

"Perhaps with a cozy fire?" Steven said. "I thought about it tonight but - er - sort of suspected we wouldn't be staying long."

"A fire sounds very romantic," Watts agreed, gently bumping Steven's shoulder with his own.
