Midnight Manor Private Residence, Monday Evening

A Thanksgiving feast, even when just for two(ish) people, was still a feast, and thus had required both yesterday and today to be properly prepared. Most of the dishes were the same as last year: the main along with the side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. And yes, of course there were dinner rolls.

New this year was a soup and simple garden salad. Dessert was also the same as last year, with apple cake and butter tarts (along with a batch of the non-vegan variety that had been set aside for Marc).

"It looks fantastic," Watts said, surveying everything laid out on the dining room table. "Will you light the candles, then, while I go fetch us a bottle of wine?"

Steven followed happily. "I think I can manage that."

Into their room they went, the tie being tossed only somewhat haphazardly on to the dresser before Watts pulled Steven down on to the bed and kissed him soundly.

Steven clearly wasn't the only one distracted, as Watts apparently had forgotten a step here.

If they were on the bed there was no danger of stumbling. Clearly Llewellyn was only looking out for their safety.

Steven tried to show his appreciation of such thoughtfulness with his kisses.

Safety first, always!

Watts rolled over on the bed so Steven was sprawled on top of him, all while responding to those kisses with equal enthusiasm.

Steven laughed, delighted at their new position. He shifted to make himself comfortable on top of Llewellyn as he kept kissing, murmuring, "Love you" between each one.

"Hmmm," Watts wasn't quite able to get a word (or two specific ones) in edgewise between Steven's, but he could hum happily in to those kisses.

Happy hums were more than all right. Steven indicated that by lightly rocking his hips forward, to help show he was enjoying himself as well.

That was pleasant indeed, Watts's own body bucking upwards slightly in response to that pleasant friction.

Still kissing, Steven tried to see if he could undo the buttons of Llewellyn's shirt.

Watts was certainly not going to offer any resistance, rather caught up in the kissing as he was.

It wasn't the most dexterous unbuttoning in the world given their position, but Steven managed. At least until he reached Llewellyn's waist coat. Then he started unbuttoning that.

Dimly, Watts wondered if he ought to help get himself undressed. Except that would involve not holding on to Steven, and he enjoyed that far too much.

Steven liked being held, so it was all right from his point of view. He kept kissing and unbuttoning, taking his time because frankly he needed it. It wasn't easy to unbutton from this position and without looking. On the other hand that meant it allowed more opportunity to enjoy the process.

Watts lifted one of his hands up to tangle in Steven's hair, murmuring encouraging noises as Steven slowly but surely undid those buttons.

Steven made a happy sound as Llewellyn held him. He finished up with the buttons of the waistcoat and resumed undoing the remaining buttons on Llewellyn's shirt.

Watts would have to let go in a minute to help shuck his undershirt once Steven finished with all those buttons, but for now he was happy to keep going as they were.

Once done with all the buttons, Steven pushed the open halves of the waistcoat and shirt aside. He let his hand roam along Llewellyn's chest. Over his undershirt, but still appreciating what he'd uncovered.

The feel of Steven's hand on his chest got another of those appreciative hums along with a twitch upward of his hips.

Steven grinned against Llewellyn's mouth. He moved his hand up so that his fingertips could caress the bare skin just above the collar of Llewellyn's undershirt.

"Love you," Watts managed. "N'your hands."

Steven grinned. "My hands love you too."

"That so?" Watts asked, grinning up at Steven.

Steven moved his fingers up to brush against even more of Llewellyn's bare skin. "Very much so. Much like I do, actually."

Watts sucked in a breath at the feel of Steven's fingers on his skin. "Ah," he said. "Good. I'm glad. Very glad- to hear that."

"Are you?" Steven asked. He moved his fingers higher, caressing Llewellyn's neck now. Lower down, Llewellyn could probably feel how Steven was enjoying this. "Good."
