Midnight Manor Private Residence, Monday Evening

A Thanksgiving feast, even when just for two(ish) people, was still a feast, and thus had required both yesterday and today to be properly prepared. Most of the dishes were the same as last year: the main along with the side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. And yes, of course there were dinner rolls.

New this year was a soup and simple garden salad. Dessert was also the same as last year, with apple cake and butter tarts (along with a batch of the non-vegan variety that had been set aside for Marc).

"It looks fantastic," Watts said, surveying everything laid out on the dining room table. "Will you light the candles, then, while I go fetch us a bottle of wine?"

What were the odds of that happening?

While Steven busied himself with Watts's upper layers, Watts unclipped his suspenders so he could shimmy out of his trousers.

Steven started to look downward. Then he shook his head and muttered "No, no, shirt first" to remind himself to stay on track.

Which got a chuckle out of Watts. Not at all mocking, just... soft and fond.

"Not my fault you're so bloody handsome," Steven told him, not really complaining. He tried to get Llewellyn's waistcoat and shirt off in one go since they were both unbuttoned.

"Mmm, you did choose me, though," Watts pointed out, sliding his arms out of his shirt.

Steven paused again to run his hands along Llewellyn's newly bare arms. "I've good taste then."

"Certainly worked out well on my end," Watts agreed, enjoying the touch.

[hasaknightjob]

"Right, getting distracted," Steven said. He moved Llewellyn's shirt and waistcoat to the side, then grasped the hem of Llewellyn's undershirt. "Off. Off with you."

"If only it were so easy as ordering my clothing to be gone," Watts said, taking hold of the shirt once Steven had lifted it and pulling it over his head.

"I keep trying," Steven said. "Perhaps it will work one day."

Then he was distracted once again by the view of Llewellyn. He trailed his fingertips slowly down Llewellyn's chest, admiring the bare skin.

Watts was not the sort of person to say anything along the lines of 'Like what you see?', but it's possible the question was in his expression regardless.

Steven caught the look. He smiled shyly. "You're very handsome."

"I like that you find me so," Watts replied, smiling back.

[hasaknightjob]

Steven grinned. He leaned in close so they were almost kissing. "I like that I find you here."

"Precisely where I want to be," Watts said, his voice a low murmur.

Steven of course had to kiss him then. Which wasn't doing much for getting the rest of Llewellyn's clothes off but it did do a great deal for making Steven happy.

At this point all that was left was his underwear anyway, and that was already somewhat pulled down...

Well, okay, there were socks as well. But right now there was kissing.

It was any clothes which was still far too much clothes in Steven's opinion.

But in this moment there was kissing and it was warm and wonderful and Steven felt no need to stop.

All the important bits were uncovered, anyway.

"Did I yet mention," Watts murmured, during a brief pause for breath. "How much I love you?"

[hasaknightjob]

"Could always say it again," Steven told him. "Because I love you too."

"I love you, Steven Grant. So much I ache with it."

[hasaknightjob]

"I love you too, Llewellyn Watts," Steven said. He slipped his hand further down to give Llewellyn a light stroke. "So much I ache."

"Oh," Watts let out a soft gasp as he felt Steven's hand on him.

[hasaknightjob]

Pleased with that reaction, Steven did it again. He watched Llewellyn's face the whole time.

Watts didn't gasp this time, but he did make a noise of contentment, head tilting back slightly.
