Midnight Manor Private Residence, Monday Evening

A Thanksgiving feast, even when just for two(ish) people, was still a feast, and thus had required both yesterday and today to be properly prepared. Most of the dishes were the same as last year: the main along with the side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. And yes, of course there were dinner rolls.

New this year was a soup and simple garden salad. Dessert was also the same as last year, with apple cake and butter tarts (along with a batch of the non-vegan variety that had been set aside for Marc).

"It looks fantastic," Watts said, surveying everything laid out on the dining room table. "Will you light the candles, then, while I go fetch us a bottle of wine?"

And for all that most of his focus was on that spot on Steven's neck, Watts was not ignoring what was happening lower down, certainly, as his hand continued to stroke and caress.

Steven gave happy little whimpers as everything Llewellyn did made him feel warm and hungry for more.

"Please," he murmured. "That? Please?"

"Just my hand?" Watts checked. "I was thinking of using my mouth as well."

"Meant - in general," Steven said, his breathing rough. "I - I like what you're doing. All of it."

"All right," Watts said, more than a little pleased at that rough breathing. Meant he was doing things right, after all. He pressed one more kiss to the mark he'd made and then moved on to pressing kisses along the line of Steven's collarbone.

Steven tilted his head to give Llewellyn room to work with. He tangled a hand in Llewellyn's hair to encourage him to keep going. "I like you. Generally. It's good."

Watts laughed softly against Steven's skin. "I like you generally as well, my darling," he said, voice full of affection.

Llewellyn's breath on his skin tickled, which got Steven laughing as well.

"I - I like all of you. Everything you do. Are doing. Right now. And otherwise."

"I'm glad," Watts said, in between the kisses he continued to pepper across Steven's skin. "And I can trust you, of course, to say if that changes?"

"About what you're doing?" Steven asked, to be sure. "Because then yeah. You I won't change. I love you."

"About what I am doing," Watts confirmed, warmth curling in his chest at Steven's statement that his love wouldn't change.

"I promise I'll say if I don't like what you're doing," Steven said.

Then, since it was sort of on topic, "Wouldn't mind you getting your kit off but don't particularly want you to stop what you're doing either."

"Mmm, if I promise to do so eventually?" Watts asked, because he didn't particularly want to stop either.

Steven considered, then nodded. "Fair compromise. Agreed."

"And," Watts said between more kisses. "Feel free to tell me if there's something you would like more."

"Kisses," Steven said, without hesitation. "Er, not at the expense of - I like your idea. More... on the way?"

"Like this?" Watts pressed a kiss to Steven's chest. "Or like this?" he moved back up, to kiss him on the lips.

"Yes," Steven replied, looking at Llewellyn with a great deal of affection. "To all of the above."

Watts chuckled. "How did I know that would be your answer?"

"Because you know me very well?" Steven replied.

"I do, don't I?" Watts said, looking incredibly pleased by this.

"You do," Steven said. He caressed Llewellyn's cheek, once again looking at him like he was something wonderful.

Watts melted a little in to the touch, just letting himself enjoy it for a few moments.

"Thank you for taking the risk of being foolish with me," he said.

"Thank you for convincing me to be foolish," Steven replied. He cupped Llewellyn's cheek. "My brave Llewellyn."

Watts blushed at the compliment. "You were worth risking my heart," he murmured, leaning in for another kiss.
