Midnight Manor Private Residence, Monday Evening

A Thanksgiving feast, even when just for two(ish) people, was still a feast, and thus had required both yesterday and today to be properly prepared. Most of the dishes were the same as last year: the main along with the side dishes of vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. And yes, of course there were dinner rolls.

New this year was a soup and simple garden salad. Dessert was also the same as last year, with apple cake and butter tarts (along with a batch of the non-vegan variety that had been set aside for Marc).

"It looks fantastic," Watts said, surveying everything laid out on the dining room table. "Will you light the candles, then, while I go fetch us a bottle of wine?"

Watts, meanwhile, had managed to undo his trousers and pull himself free of his underwear, and was now giving himself slow, lazy strokes as he watched Steven.

Once Steven had put the last of his clothes aside, he turned back to face Llewellyn.

And then he was staring, enraptured.

Watts, leaning against the headboard, shirt and waistcoat still around his shoulders, and trousers open just enough that he'd been able to take himself in hand, smiled back.

"Beautiful," he sighed. "My rare one."

"Amazing," Steven murmured as he took it all in. His eyes were wide, and he looked as though he'd forgotten any other words as options.

"Hm?" Watts said absently, still captivated by the sight of Steven in front of him.

"You," Steven managed. "You're amazing."

"I- really? I was thinking that about you," Watts said.

[hasaknightjob]

"Thank you," Steven said. He crawled up on the bed so he could be closer to Llewellyn but still see him. "This - this is for me?"

"I find you utterly captivating," Watts replied. "Watching you- anticipating. What is to come after. Yes."

Steven blushed, pleased. "That - that's amazing. Thank you."

"I love you," Watts said. "And- perhaps selfishly, I love that seeing you like this is- this is just for me."

"Entirely for you," Steven said. He smiled shyly. "Because of you as well."

"You find me- inspiring- hm?" Watts asked with a grin.

Steven's blush got redder. "Something like that, yeah."

"Come closer?" Watts asked.

Steven moved so that he was lying down beside Llewellyn. It wasn't great for a full view of each other's bodies, but it was a closer view of their faces. "How's that?"

Watts scooched down so he was lying parallel to Steven. "Perfect," he declared, reaching out to cup Steven's cheek.

Steven leaned into the touch. He took advantage of their closeness to run his fingertips along Llewellyn's bare chest. "You still have clothes on."

"I do," he acknowledged. "I found myself- thoroughly distracted."

"Still amazes me," Steven admitted. "That I am that for you. Someone as kind and wonderful and handsome as you thinks that way of me."

"Likewise, that you consider me kind and wonderful and handsome at all," Watts replied. "Those are not words I am accustomed to hearing to describe me."

Steven leaned in to give Llewellyn a soft kiss, resting his hand over Llewellyn's heart. "You are. I trust you completely. And you're the handsomest man I know."

"That means a great deal to me," Watts replied. "That first thing- though I do feel pride at the second as well."

"They're both true," Steven said. He trailed his fingers up and down Llewellyn's bare chest. "Even now, with clothes still on, you look amazing."

The word of the day it seemed.

Watts, meanwhile, let his own fingers trace a line down Steven's side, coming to rest at his hip. "And you are beautiful, and all mine," he said happily.
