The Flat in London, Saturday Afternoon

Watts had Steven had barely unpacked from their trip to Quebec when there had been a call regarding a minor but urgent issue regarding some legal paperwork back in London. So- back into suitcases clothing went, only this time-

This time in addition to Marc also packing some things as he'd be needed for aforementioned legal paperwork business, they were bringing Raphael with them. Both because they felt a little badly about leaving the cat again so soon and they'd talked about possibly giving him an opportunity to explore the flat in London. See how he liked it, that sort of thing.

Now it was Saturday afternoon, the legal business had all been taken care of, and they were lingering before catching a portal back to Fandom tomorrow. Lingering in the kitchen specifically, with the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies laid out before them.

"Should we get started on those cookies?" Watts asked, in a tone that hopefully indicated he was in no rush to disentangle himself from Steven.

"We can if you like," Steven said, though he wasn't struggling to get out of Llewellyn's arms either.

"Mmm, perhaps a kiss or two first to fortify us," Watts said.

"Sounds wise," Steven said, going to do just that.

"Thought you might agree with me," Watts said smugly.

"I often do," Steven said, still kissing. "You have so many good ideas."

"Mmm, thank you," Watts replied. "Particularly proud of this one at the moment."

"Making biscuits at all for a start," Steven said. "Wise indeed."

"Something sweet to share with the man I'm sweet on," Watts said, smiling in to the kiss.

[hasaknightjob]

Steven chuckled fondly. "Are you attempting wordplay with me? If you are, it's working."

[pocketpretzels]

"Might be," Watts said airly. "It's also just a fact. I am rather sweet on you."

[hasaknightjob]

"I'll be the judge of that," Steven said. He gave Llewellyn another kiss, then looked thoughtful. "Hmm. Sweet. You're right."

"Not what I meant, but I'll allow it," Watts said, laughing.

[hasaknightjob]

"You'll have to," Steven explained. "I've already judged it, you see. It's truth now."

"Be futile to argue with the truth," Watts agreed.

[hasaknightjob]

"That's time that could be spent making biscuits," Steven pointed out.

[pocketpretzels]

"Which we probably should start, lest we run in to dinner time..." Watts acknowledged. "Although first-" he pulled away just enough to reach the bag of chocolate chips on the counter, taking one and holding it up to Steven's lips. "A sweet for my sweet."

"Now who's being sweet?" Steven said. He took the chocolate with a kiss to Llewellyn's fingers. "Thank you."

For the kind words and chocolate both.

"You're very welcome," Watts declared, smiling at the kiss to his fingertips.

"Now where would you like me?" Steven asked.

[pocketpretzels]

"Right here with me?" Watts said. "But also, mixing the butter and sugar while I prepare the egg substitute."

[hasaknightjob]

"I can do that," Steven said. He kissed Llewellyn one more time. "I'd like more of those when it's done."

[pocketpretzels]

"I can do that," Watts echoed. "I would like more of those as we proceed," he added, grin impish.

[hasaknightjob]

"I accept your terms," Steven said. He held his hand out for a shake.

Watts took Steven's hand in his, but not to shake it. Instead, he brought it up to his lips and pressed a kiss to the back of Steven's hand.
