A Cabin in South Tyrol, Italy, Friday Evening

A day spent indoors had been followed by one where Watts and Steven had visited the nearby town for lunch, as well as a bit of shopping (wine, of course, and a souvenir for Raphael, among other things), and then today?

Well, it had started with a lie-in, followed by French toast for a late (very late) breakfast, and then there had been a knock at the door with some flower deliveries - truly impressive, really, how the Student Council had known to deliver them here despite neither Steven nor Watts providing anyone explicit details regarding their destination.

There had been at least one other delivery as well, thankfully when Steven had been occupied in a manner that meant he hadn't seen who was at the door, which allowed Watts to stash said delivery in the sleeping area with one of his suit jackets to cover it.

And that wasn't even the last of it! Dinner had been dropped off from a not-quite-local restaurant, and having just poured their wine glasses, Watts pulled out Steven's chair with a flourish. "Here we are," he declared.

The fact that it could go without saying that the other person was Marc meant so much to Steven. He kissed Llewellyn's hand again in appreciation of it.

"You've enjoyed all this so far?" Steven asked. "Our getaway?"

As far as people Steven didn't share a body with, Watts had no doubts about his place at the top of his priority list, and that was what mattered to him.

"Immensely," Watts said. "It's been a nice- change of pace. Different too from our usual holidays, without much of an itinerary."

"I liked that as well," Steven said. "Not - I like itineraries. But they make more sense when we're somewhere with things we're trying to do in a set amount of time. Here, where the main goal is various ways to enjoy the outdoors, it's nice to be more laid back. Doesn't matter if we snowshoe morning or afternoon, that sort of thing."

"Or spend the whole day indoors," Watts added with a smile.

Which they usually did while on one of their more typical trips as well, it just- was also accounted for. Worked into the itinerary.

"Have a morning lie-in," Steven said, with a similar smile back. "Or an evening one."

"Hmmm," Watts said, around a mouthful of soup. "An appealing image."

"And enjoy a nice soak in the tub," Steven said. Which showed up often on their holidays as well. "Rather fond of those."

"Even when the tub, too, is out of doors?"

See, that just meant they could enjoy warming each other back up after dashing inside.

"Sort of fun," Steven admitted. "Bit of an adventure. Then there's cuddling by the fire after."

So yes, warming each other up after they raced inside.

"That does hold a certain appeal," Watts agreed, eyes twinkling.

"As does knowing out here I'm the only one who can see you in that tub," Steven said, giving Llewellyn a warm look.

"That is a view for your eyes only," Watts nodded. "Not," he added, "That I think anyone else is particularly interested. But my point remains."

"Plenty would be," Steven said. "You're very handsome. In and out of your clothes."

[pocketpretzels]

"It means a great deal that you think so," Watts told him. "Yours being the only one whose opinion matters to me, at least in that arena."

"As I'm the only one allowed to see it," Steven said, holding up his wine glass in a salute, "I shall do my part to make sure it is thoroughly appreciated."

"Likewise," Watts said, mirroring Steven's action.

Yes, yes, Marc could be naked in front of whomsoever he chose, but despite it literally being the same body it wasn't really the same body, so far as Watts was concerned.

It was entirely different depending on who had the body at the time. Once again, Llewellyn understanding that - and it being such a given that it was an understanding that went without saying - had Steven looking at Llewellyn with heart eyes again.

"What?" Watts asked, recognizing the look by now if not quite grasping what had prompted it.

"You see me," Steven said. He thought of several of their conversations over the week. One of which had included talking about Steven's glasses, perhaps appropriately enough. "Love me as I am. Not in spite."

"Never in spite," Watts affirmed. "I love you, all of you," he reached out to cup Steven's cheek in one hand. "Precisely as you are."

Steven blinked rapidly as Llewellyn's words hit just the right way.

"I'll drink to that," he said, but he didn't make a move away from Llewellyn's touch.

"I've something better than a drink," Watts said, leaning in to offer a kiss, sweet and loving.

Steven returned the kiss, drinking - heh - in all the tenderness, support, and love there was to be found in it. He reached out to try to grasp Llewellyn's free hand with one of his own, holding on to it like an anchor.

Watts met him partway, tangling their fingers together and squeezing tight as the kiss went on.

Steven squeezed back, clinging. When he finally parted from the kiss he said, "Sorry. Don't know why I'm in a mood all of a sudden."
