A Cabin in South Tyrol, Italy, Friday Evening

A day spent indoors had been followed by one where Watts and Steven had visited the nearby town for lunch, as well as a bit of shopping (wine, of course, and a souvenir for Raphael, among other things), and then today?

Well, it had started with a lie-in, followed by French toast for a late (very late) breakfast, and then there had been a knock at the door with some flower deliveries - truly impressive, really, how the Student Council had known to deliver them here despite neither Steven nor Watts providing anyone explicit details regarding their destination.

There had been at least one other delivery as well, thankfully when Steven had been occupied in a manner that meant he hadn't seen who was at the door, which allowed Watts to stash said delivery in the sleeping area with one of his suit jackets to cover it.

And that wasn't even the last of it! Dinner had been dropped off from a not-quite-local restaurant, and having just poured their wine glasses, Watts pulled out Steven's chair with a flourish. "Here we are," he declared.

Steven squeaked with surprise. He scrabbled to put his fork down so he could hold Llewellyn with both arms.

Watts let out a delighted chuckle, pleased as always at eliciting one of those squeaks.

Based on feel, Steven probably didn't get his fork back onto the plate. But he at least freed up his hand so he could hold Llewellyn tight as they kissed.

Eh, the fork was a tomorrow problem. Right now Watts was just going to make a contented noise as he pressed himself up against Steven as much as possible while keeping up that kiss.

Steven enjoyed that contented noise. He hugged Llewellyn closer, deepening the kiss as he did.

It was no squeak, but a good noise all the same.

"Bed?" Watts suggested once he finally came up for air.

"Bed," Steven agreed. He snuck another kiss. "We'll have to stand though."

"Yes," Watts said with a sigh. "I suppose that's true." So dramatic.

"You could sit on top of me when we're there?" Steven suggested.

"Hopefully with fewer clothes between us?" Watts asked.

[hasaknightjob]

"I would enjoy that as well," Steven said, smiling up at him. "Shall we get our kit off before we get there?"

[pocketpretzels]

"Please," Watts said. "Handsome as you look right now," he tugged at Steven's shirt collar. "I'd like to see you free of this."

"Likewise," Steven said, tugging at Llewellyn's tie. "Though it is nice having a handle."

"I could leave that on?" Watts suggested.

[hasaknightjob]

"I - " Steven started to say, then was completely derailed as he tried to picture it.

[pocketpretzels]

"If you'd like," Watts added hastily, not sure what that sudden silence indicated.

"I'm trying to picture it," Steven admitted. "On the one hand it seems attractive. On the other for some reason it makes me feel that you'll be more cold?"

"I've got you to warm me up," Watts pointed out. "And keep me warm."

[hasaknightjob]

"True," Steven said. "If I picture you doing it at home it's not so bad? But for some reason here I worry about you catching chill. I know it's silly when you're not wearing anything else. Can't for the life of me explain why."

[pocketpretzels]

"Your concern is sweet," Watts told him. "Not silly."

[hasaknightjob]

Steven blinked, not having realized he'd done his usual dismissal of his feelings. Then he smiled at Llewellyn. "There you go protecting me again."

[pocketpretzels]

"Always, darling. Always," Watts assured him.

[hasaknightjob]

"I think I might like to try you keeping the tie on when we're home?" Steven suggested. "I don't know why I feel better about it that way, but I do."

[pocketpretzels]

"All right," Watts said, leaning in to offer a gentle kiss.

[hasaknightjob]

"It's an appealing image otherwise," Steven added, in case Llewellyn had been worried.
