A Cabin in South Tyrol, Italy, Friday Evening

A day spent indoors had been followed by one where Watts and Steven had visited the nearby town for lunch, as well as a bit of shopping (wine, of course, and a souvenir for Raphael, among other things), and then today?

Well, it had started with a lie-in, followed by French toast for a late (very late) breakfast, and then there had been a knock at the door with some flower deliveries - truly impressive, really, how the Student Council had known to deliver them here despite neither Steven nor Watts providing anyone explicit details regarding their destination.

There had been at least one other delivery as well, thankfully when Steven had been occupied in a manner that meant he hadn't seen who was at the door, which allowed Watts to stash said delivery in the sleeping area with one of his suit jackets to cover it.

And that wasn't even the last of it! Dinner had been dropped off from a not-quite-local restaurant, and having just poured their wine glasses, Watts pulled out Steven's chair with a flourish. "Here we are," he declared.

"I understood your intent," Watts assured him. "But agree that it could- and should- be interpreted- in multiple ways."

"If you're free tonight, for example," Steven said.

"Well, following this dance I do have plans involving dessert," Watts said, pretending to think about it. "But- following that, perhaps? Or I could speak to my beau, see if he's willing to alter those dessert plans."

"Could depend on the dessert," Steven said. "If it'll keep."

"Ice cream cake," Watts said. "Tucked away in the freezer at the moment."

"That is very tempting," Steven said. "I could see how someone might want to have it first."

Watts nodded. "Though as I mentioned, I am willing to be persuaded if you've a better idea," he said.

"I did," Steven admitted, "but now I sort of like the idea of feeding you cake?"

"Oh," Watts said, eyes going wide. "I. Ah. Yes. Would be. Amenable to that, as well."

"Sort of an appealing image, you see," Steven said, ducking his head shyly. "If that's all right."

"It's," Watts swallowed. "It's more than all right."

"One big piece to share?" Steven suggested. He was excited now that he knew Llewellyn was into the idea as well.

"That sounds perfect," Watts agreed.

[hasaknightjob]

"I'll get the cake if you clear the table enough for us to enjoy it?" Steven asked.

Watts nodded, but before he moved to do so was just going to make sure he pulled Steven in for one more kiss.

Steven had no problem with that. He kissed Llewellyn back, melting into his arms as he did.

"Love you," Watts said with a contented sigh when he finally pulled away.

"Love you too," Steven said. He rest his forehead against Llewellyn's. "So much. All the love I have. Which has no limit."

"Lucky me," Watts said. "To have found someone with so much love to give."

[hasaknightjob]

"You can have some whenever you like," Steven told him. "I'm happy to give it to you."

"Ever my Gentleman Knight," Watts said with a warm smile.

[hasaknightjob]

"Yours," Steven said, because that was always worth repeating. "Here, shall we get ready then?"

Watts nodded, moving to clear the dishes from the table. There was no dish washing cupboard, so they went into the sink to be dealt with tomorrow.

Steven meanwhile cut a generous slice of cake so that the rest of it could stay safely in the freezer. He put the cake on a plate, got two forks and spoons, and brought it all over to the table with a flourish. "Here we are!"

Given the relatively small space in the cabin, the chairs had been tucked away in order to make room for dancing.

"And here you are," Watts said, pulling Steven's chair back out for him.
