It had been an absolutely wonderful evening so far, in Watts's opinion, and was about to get even better as he and Steven returned to their hotel room (suite, really, which might have been a bit extravagant for a one-night stay but- well, there were reasons) following a night out with dinner and then a performance by the LA Philharmonic.

And, of course, the dessert of a chocolate cake that Watts had arranged to be delivered to their room while they were out. Though it's possible Steven might not notice right away, given how the moment the door closed behind them, Watts was pushing Steven back up against it to kiss him soundly.
