Watts and Steven had made plans to go out to dinner and then ice skating tonight in Baltimore. Unbeknownst to Steven, Watts had reserved a hotel room in Baltimore for the night. Yes, portals meant it was easy enough to get home after a night out no matter where said night happened to be, but sometimes? Sometimes it was just nice to spoil your beau with a little getaway of sorts.
Of course, Watts didn't want Steven to be totally unprepared for an overnight stay, so he did tell him about what he'd arranged in enough time for Steven to pack an overnight bag of his own. Or for Watts to cancel the reservation if needed, but luckily it turned out that Steven was absolutely on board with the plan. So dinner, ice skating, and then retiring to a nearby hotel. A perfectly wonderful evening, in Watts's opinion.
"Shall we try going backwards, then?" he asked, swinging himself around so he could take both Steven's hands in his.
