Watts and Steven had arrived at their hotel early yesterday evening, and after a nice dinner had gotten settled in their room.

Today being their anniversary, it had started, of course, with a lie-in. Followed by breakfast delivered to the room and eaten in bed. The day itself had been spent enjoying the infinity pool and the spectacular view of the Aegean sea, along with plenty of lounging around.

Speaking of that view, Watts had arranged for dinner to be delivered to the room so they could eat outside as the sun set.

Of course Steven was going to dress up for the occasion. He wore an off white linen suit which was comparatively more casual in style than his suit for Khonshu but which Steven thought he looked rather smart in all the same.

(It probably went without saying that the suit was already wrinkled.)

His shirt was a light blue and his tie a darker one. Steven was currently trying to get the latter into place while having a difficult time getting the ends as even as he wanted.

Watts gestured at Steven's tie, clearly asking permission to come and adjust it.

Steven dropped his hands down to his sides so that Llewellyn had room to work. "Please? Top keeps coming out short."

"I've got it," Watts said, stepping forward and deftly tying the necktie.

For all that he sometimes had trouble with tasks involving a certain amount of dexterity, this was not one of them.

Steven watched Llewellyn fondly as he did that. "My hero."

"Any time," Watts said, leaning in to sneak a kiss.

Did it matter that he was the only one who would see said tie? And that it would most likely be swiftly removed (along with Steven's other clothing) upon the conclusion of their dinner? Not one bit.

Steven wanted to look nice for his beau for their anniversary. The tie was a part of it, no matter how long it stayed on.

Which Steven tried to convey as he kissed back. Along with his appreciation for fixing said tie.

The thought, much like Steven himself, was quite sweet.

"I love you," Watts said into that kiss. Not news, but he enjoyed saying it. Today especially.

"I love you," Steven replied. "Happy three years, love."

"A very happy three years," Watts agreed.

"Here," Steven said. "Let's eat while it's fresh."

"Yes," Watts agreed, pulling Steven out on to the terrace where their dinner was set up. "Here," he pulled out Steven's chair for him, and then poured them each a glass of wine.

"Cheers," Steven said as he took his seat. He watched Llewellyn with obvious fondness. "I know that'll be wonderful. You picked it."

Watts gave him a pleased smile in return. "Thank you. Only seems right that Greek wine is had with our dinner tonight."

"Agreed." Steven held up his glass. "A toast? To us?"

"To us," Watts echoed, holding up his own glass. "Upon the conclusion of our third year together, and the beginning of another."

"And many more to come," Steven said. He took a sip of his wine, nodding in approval of the taste. "Can't believe it. All of three. Our relationship is a toddler now."

"Evie's age," Watts pointed out.

Steven's expression grew soft as he thought about it. "She's a love. I like the idea of our relationship having something in common with her."

"Myself as well," Watts agreed, with a fond look of his own.

Knowing perfectly well what Llewellyn had meant, Steven said, "You're a love too, yes."

But while grinning to show he was joking.

"Your love," Watts retorted, heart eyes out in full force.

[hasaknightjob]

"Very much so," Steven said.

To which he naturally had to lean over to kiss him. Couldn't be helped.

"Lucky me," Watts sighed into that kiss.

"Everything's wonderful, Llew," Steven said. "I've adored it all so far. Thank you."
