Midnight Manor Private Residence, Saturday Morning

The heating pad had helped a great deal to soothe the ache in his arm, though at some point during the night Watts still found himself awake and restless. He scribbled a quick note for Steven and headed downstairs to make himself a cup of tea.

Fandom being Fandom, he never made it back upstairs, and thus come Saturday morning there was a tiny Llewellyn Watts fast asleep on the library couch, one arm slung over an equally fast asleep Raphael, who was laid out next to him.

"Still food," Llewellyn pointed out. "It's not good to waste food."

"It's not gone to waste now," Steven said. He ate the piece of banana just to prove the point. "Thank you."

"Welcome!" Llewellyn said, around a mouthful of waffle.

Steven smiled at him. "After perhaps we'll see who else is about? Check if they'd care for some breakfast?"

Llewellyn nodded. "But I get to have another orange first!"

"And perhaps then play?" Steven suggested. "We can bring the playroom back like you had last time."

[pocketpretzels]

"We can?" Llewellyn looked visibly excited. "That was fun."

[hasaknightjob]

"We can," Steven confirmed. "And you can keep it as is or make changes to it if you like."

[pocketpretzels]

"What sort of changes?" Llewellyn asked.

[hasaknightjob]

"How things look," Steven said. "What sorts of things you'd like to play with. Things of that nature."

[pocketpretzels]

"Oh," Llewellyn said. "I think I like it how I 'member it," he said easily. "But maybe someone else might want things different."

[hasaknightjob]

"We can start with how things were and if anyone wants changes we can figure it out when the time comes," Steven said. "But even if they want changes that doesn't mean you have to lose the things you like. They can be in addition to."

Llewellyn nodded. "I like it's a place just for playing?" he said tentatively.

[hasaknightjob]

"What would it be if not a place for playing?" Steven asked, curious.

[pocketpretzels]

"I dunno," Llewellyn shrugged. "Mostly I'm just supposed to play outside."

[hasaknightjob]

"I see," Steven said. "You're allowed to play inside here. Though we can go out at some point if you like. We've the beach right outside our door. You could make sand castles?"

Possibly a little too cold for a long time playing outside but Steven could find a way to bundle Llewellyn up for a bit.

"The beach like at the ocean?" Llewellyn asked, wide eyed.

[hasaknightjob]

"Very much like the ocean," Steven said. "Though it's too cold for swimming I'm afraid. But we could play in the sand or go for a walk if you like."

"Oh, I would like!" Llewellyn said, waving his fork around in his enthusiasm. Thankfully there was nothing on it, so no food went flying.

"We'll put that on the agenda then," Steven said. Luckily they had toys for playing in the sand from the last time there were little ones about. "What other things would you like to do this weekend?"

"Ummmm," Llewellyn thought about the question. "We could- read some books? And I can pet the cat some more?"

[hasaknightjob]

"We can do both those things," Steven said. "What about drawing? Would you like to draw at some point?"

They did have craft supplies for little ones now too.

"I could make you a picture," Llewellyn nodded.

[hasaknightjob]

"I would love if you made me a picture," Steven said. "I would put it in my journal with other things I want to keep."

"You would? Really?"
