After their usual jaunt over to the mainland, Watts had headed to the kitchen to do a bit of baking, and then to the library for some piano practice.

And as he'd told Steven the other day at lunch, he was close to mastering the piece he was currently working on. Maddeningly close, in fact. So absorbed was he in getting to the point where he could play it through without a stumble that he did not notice as the hour ticked over past that where he usually stopped for the evening so he and Steven could have dinner together. Instead, he kept playing, and playing, single-minded in his determination to finally master the piece.

Which got him a soft, breathy moan against his lips in return. "S'good."

"So are you," Steven replied.

He gave Llewellyn one last kiss, then began moving his way down Llewellyn's chest, kissing all the while.

"Flirt," Watts declared happily as Steven worked his way downward.

"I like the results," Steven told him with a grin. He pressed kisses along Llewellyn's thighs.

"You are rather- inspiring," Watts replied.

"And you are lovely," Steven said. He gave Llewellyn one last kiss, then sat up. He opened up the lube and began to warm it on his fingers. "Looking forward to being inside of you."

Watts made another desperate noise at Steven's words. "I want- I want to be full of you," he said.

Steven started to tease one finger around Llewellyn's opening. "I think we can arrange that. Once we get you all ready for me."

Watts's hips twitched as he felt Steven's finger circle him. "You think?" he said, attempting for indignant.

"First step to doing, isn't it?" Steven pointed out. "Thinking?"

To prove that, Steven gently began to slide his finger in.

"Not qu- mmmm."

What had he been about to say? Funny, he couldn't think of it at the moment.

That was all right. Steven was more interested in watching at the moment anyway. Well, moving his finger slowly in and out but then watching the results of doing so.

"Love you," he whispered.

Watts was looking back at Steven, an expression of adoration on his face as his hips twitched in response to the movement of Steven's finger.

Steven returned that adoring expression. He kept it up as he tried to gently add another finger in with the first.

"Yes," Watts breathed, fingers clenching the sheets. "Like that, please."

"Of course," Steven murmured, pressing in so his fingers could hit a certain spot just so. "You're all mine."

Watts made a keening noise as Steven's fingers hit that spot. "Yours," he agreed. "Now and always."

Steven added one more finger in, working very carefully. He didn't take his eyes off of Llewellyn. "You're all right? Still mine?"

"Very- very much so," Watts said. That look of adoration hadn't wavered.

"I love you very much," Steven said, working his fingers in and out. "That you trust me this way."

[pocketpretzels]

"Co- completely," Watts gasped out. "Utterly."

"Do you think you're ready for me?" Steven asked. It felt that way, but he wanted to be sure.

[pocketpretzels]

"Yes." The emphatic note in Watts's voice hopefully erased any uncertainty Steven was feeling regarding whether his beau was ready. "Please."

Steven leaned up to kiss him - which had the inadvertent effect of pushing his fingers in a little more - then said, "Right, just a tick."

He carefully took his fingers out and did what he needed to prepare himself, watching Llewellyn all the while. "You look amazing."

Watts gasped in to the kiss, and then made a sad noise when Steven removed his fingers. Even though, like before, he knew what was coming next would be even better.

"You make me feel amazing," he told Steven.
