So it was possible Watts had gone a little overboard when booking their room in Barbados, but... it had a private pool! And a hot tub!

And, okay, 24/7 access to a butler which was something these two were likely not going to take much (if any) advantage of, but the deal because pretend money is fake anyway had been far too good to pass up, so... here they were, alone at last after having finished the check-in process and having their bags brought to the room.

"So," Watts asked. "What do you think?"

Steven? Staring at the room. Wide-eyed, in fact.

"It's a bit much..." Watts started off, then looked over at Steven again. "It's too much? It's too much, isn't it?"

Steven was still staring. But he managed to say, "Llew, it's amazing!"

"That's- the good sort of amazing, yes?" Watts checked.

"What? Oh, yes! Yes," Steven assured him. "Sorry. It's only the pictures didn't do it justice."

"Oh, agreed," Watts nodded. "I don't know if I was expecting quite so- much myself. I only thought- well, it has a pool, like the last time. I quite liked that."

"Is it too much for you?" Steven asked.

"No, no," Watts said. "What of you?" he asked. "You seemed a tad- overwhelmed."

"Oh no, no," Steven assured him. "Only that there's so much of it! Needed a moment to take it all in. Not sure I have fully, to be honest."

"I know- oh! Look!" Watts said, pointing at the table, where there was a bowl full of fresh fruit.

Steven bumped shoulders with Llewellyn. "They knew you were coming it seems."

"Of course they did," Watts said. "I made a reservation."

[hasaknightjob]

"That would do it," Steven agreed, smiling at Llewellyn fondly. "You've done a wonderful job, Llew. Thank you. This is better than I could have imagined."

Watts smiled back at him. "I wanted to spoil you. I know that- escaping the drudgery of winter was- less important, to you, when it came to selecting somewhere to go on holiday. So I- appreciate you indulging me in this."

Steven turned to stand in front of him and face him. "You are important to me. That meant this was as well. But thank you, Llew. I'm looking forward to trying that pool."

And the tub, but that could come later.

“It certainly looks refreshing,” Watts agreed. “And right outside the bedroom!”

"Looking forward to trying that as well," Steven said, giving him a cheeky grin.

“Flirt,” Watts declared, pulling him in for a playful kiss.

Steven kissed back. "When better to flirt with my beau then when we're on romantic holiday?"

"A very good point," Watts declared, a certain lightness in his manner that had not been present in Fandom.

"Shall we enjoy our pool?" Steven asked. "Or was there something you wanted to do first?"

"Fix a drink to take out to the pool?" Watts suggested.

[hasaknightjob]

"I've no objections," Steven said. "I think spending time enjoying the amenities is just the thing."

"Still, suppose we ought to change first regardless," Watts said, having taken a step over to the in-room bar only to realise perhaps it would be better to change into a swimming costume lest he get distracted.

"Good idea," Steven said. He went to his suitcase to do just that. "Be better for the warm weather regardless."
