Midnight Manor Private Residence, Saturday Afternoon

Saturday's routine had started off like normal, heading off to the mainland to attend services. Once they were back on the island, however, Watts was off to the clinic for the first in what he'd found out would be a series of vaccinations over the next several weeks.

Hence his current state, sore and generally unwell-feeling, bundled up on the couch in the library.

"You're not strange," Steven told him. "You're perfect."

"I like that you find me so," Watts told him.

"I like that I find you in my arms," Steven replied with a grin. "Happy day for me."

"Rather pleasant for me as well, being held by you," Watts replied.

"Would you like to change position?" Steven asked. "More of a cuddle? Or you could stay as you are, I don't mind."

"Are your hands getting tired?" Watts asked.

Steven considered so he could answer honestly. "The one on your arm a little bit? The one in your hair is fine."

"Then I could move, yes," Watts told him, shifting so he was sitting upright.

"You didn't have to - " Steven started to say. But if Llewellyn was going to change position Steven was going to wrap his arms around him and try to pull him close to his chest. Assuming Llewellyn was all right with that.

Watts was definitely all right with that, making a contented noise as he settled in to his new position.

Steven let Llewellyn settle in as he liked, then wrapped his arms around him to hold him close. "This is nice. My very own blanket shaped like you."

"And here I was, thinking the same of you," Watts said. "You've got me nicely surrounded."

"I was thinking I was more like a pillow," Steven admitted. "But if you think blanket I'm all right with that. I can keep you warm and safe."

"I feel safest when I am in your company," Watts shared. "My Gentleman Knight."

Steven nuzzled the side of Llewellyn's head. "I'll do my best to keep all the dangerous at bay."

Watts turned his head to press a kiss to Steven's cheek. "Thank you, darling."

"You would do the same for me," Steven said. He wrapped his arms around Llewellyn's shoulders. "Everything all right? Temperature good? Do we need Midnight to change it?"

"Temperature is perfect," Watts said. "Not too cold that I'm feeling a chill, not too warm that sitting like this is uncomfortable. At least, so far as I'm concerned?"

"Good." Steven kissed Llewellyn's temple. "I'm glad to hear it. Let me know if it changes? Or - I suppose you could tell Midnight yourself. But if you wanted a blanket or cool drink or something."

"Actually..." Watts leaned forward to take one of the remaining biscuits from the plate that had totally handwavily seen its contents diminish over the course of the afternoon.

"Those are medicinal when you're feeling poorly," Steven said. "Known fact."

"What about with an iced tea?" Watts asked. "Since I've finished the regular tea you brought."

Look at him, actually asking for something!

"Would you like me to make some?" Steven asked. "I don't mind at all, if you don't mind the wait."

"Please?" Watts said, with another kiss to Steven's cheek.

"I'll have to let go of you," Steven said, since it was only fair to warn about such horrible things. "Or you could join me in the kitchen if you wanted?"
