MHA #14, Saturday Morning
Well, chalk up another successful date night. For a certain definition of success, in any case. There had definitely been dinner. And dessert. Watts and Steven might have even actually sat down on the couch to watch the film but that remained to be seen (heh) in SP.
Where they definitely failed was in taking things across the hall to Watts's apartment before they fell into bed together. But now it was morning and warm and happy and wrapped around the man he loved, Watts didn't even recall the fact that taking things over to his apartment had ever been part of the plan.

At least there wasn't a half naked man in the kitchen anymore.
And the doorway was free.

Not the nervous breakdown parts. Marc wasn't that much of an asshole. But Steven being a dumbass was never not funny. Provided Steven wasn't hurt, of course.

She didn't think it was particularly hilarious that she'd hurt someone. Someone who had even more right than she did to be there.

"You're fine," he told her. "They were supposed to go to his place. They got horny and forgot. You were actually supposed to be here today. I know between you and him on the morals thing none of this was great but nobody died. It's okay."
no subject
She was totally ignoring the horny thing because she had no idea what he meant.
"And Steven shouldn't have to leave his own apartment. I should have just waited. Or stayed in your room. Or on the balcony."

Then she waited for whatever Steven had to say.

"Right, yes," Steven said. He turned to face her more fully which did take up more room in the doorway but not so much he was entirely blocking it as he'd done before. "We might take turns here, I think. Bit easier. Since you can't hear us - " here Steven gestured towards the fridge as though that would mean anything to Nell. "But you've done nothing wrong. This is your home until your flat is ready. You can come and go as you like. Wouldn't have given you keys otherwise."
no subject
"I hurt your friend," Nell said simply. "I didn't mean to, but I did."

Maybe a little Steven's for not pushing them to go over to Llewellyn's flat like they should have. But still.

She rubbed a hand over her face. "I'm fine now, just feeling silly. But I should go and let you two have breakfast and come back later."

Just then there was a notification of someone downstairs. Which turned out to be the delivery Llewellyn had ordered, so Steven told them to come up. Before letting Llewellyn know the food was here, he turned to Nell again. "See? Easy enough for us all here, or him and I there. No problem."

Nell would probably really only have tea. Which reminded her. She bent to pick up the spoon and the phone, which she handed to Steven. "This is his."

Instead Steven went directly to the bedroom and knocked softly on the door. Yes, it was his room but Llewellyn might want privacy all the same. "Llew?"

Watts wasn't quite sure what to make of that look. "What is it?"
