Detective Llewellyn Watts (

* is from season 15 of Canadian period drama Murdoch Mysteries.
* is 33 and has taken over as sheriff thus continuing the tradition of having people in the position who are definitely qualified. Though he's probably more qualified than the last guy.
* is from Toronto, Ontario, specifically the year 1909.
* would prefer it if you refer to him as "Watts", "Detective Watts", or "Detective". First names are far too intimate for this Edwardian-era nerd.
* (speaking of being an Edwardian-era nerd) is nearly always dressed in a full three-piece suit. If outdoors, he's also got a hat on. This is significant enough that if it's not the case, the narrative will absolutely mention it.
* does not have a firm grasp on things like social graces.
* once had very little in the way of a brain-to-mouth filter, but has gotten better about that.
* is bad with things like 'personal space'. Much like a toddler, he will make a grab for something you have in your hands if he wants to see it. Will also drop it on the ground after he's done with it.
* is, similarly, a menace to plant life anywhere. No leaf or flower bud is safe.
* was raised by his sister until he was twelve, at which point she ran off and he was taken in by his landlady.
* enjoys street food. Misses Toronto's readily available soft pretzels.
* is also Jewish by birth, although he wasn't raised in the faith and only found out this fact as an adult.
* came to Fandom with a vague knowledge of the island's weird tendencies thanks to coming from the same timeline (albeit almost thirty years later) as former student William Murdoch.
* is still rather shellshocked by modern prices though.
* is gay, which goes... well, actually, it goes better than you'd expect in canon for the most part, because the main characters on this show are all fairly progressive, but still.
* is dating Steven Grant (one half1 of

1 so far as anyone is aware, at least.

Doctor Will Halstead (
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

* is from post season 4 of Chicago Med, a medical procedural that is one part of a canon universe of procedural dramas referred to as "One Chicago" (the other shows being Fire, PD, and, briefly, Justice. Due to crossovers that happened in PD- and a Justice character who later become a SVU regular- it also shares a canon timeline with Law & Order: SVU, and FBI.)
* is in his early-to-mid 30s, and is currently running the clinic in town, with a regular shift there on Tuesdays.
* is from Chicago, Illinois.
* relocated to Fandom originally because he was in Witness Protection.
* went back home earlier this year for what he thought was "for good", nearly died, broke up with his fiancee, and decided to come back to Fandom.
* is deeply traumatized by the events that led him here but is steadfastly refusing to acknowledge or deal with said trauma. This will definitely end well for everyone.
* has a career history that makes very little sense, because I'm fairly sure the writers retooled the character between his initial introduction and the proper premiere of Med.
* is not arrogant, he just knows more (about medicine) than you.
* is an extremely talented diagnostician. We're talking magic hands here people.
* will do what he thinks is best, when it comes to medical treatment. Which uh. Is not always the ethical choice.
* has a younger brother who he cares a lot about, but their family history is... fraught?
* (like, we're talking his dad initially didn't approve of him going to college and then med school, because "A Real Man goes right to work.")

Terra Harvey (

* is from a canon that is part of the very 2020s trend of Dark And Edgy Remakes Of Children's Properties, specifically Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga.
* is a sophomore.
* is a fairy. Yep. You sure did read that right!
* is not Tinkerbell-sized and zipping around with wings or anything, but rather physically indistinguishable from a human.
* is from a world that exists parallel to Earth (referred to as "The First World") called the Otherworld, where fairies are the dominant species. Otherworld fairies have magic which ties in to a specific element (though as they learn, they can do magic that's more sophisticated than just... "can set things on fire/make plants grow/control water" etc). Terra's element is, you guessed it, earth.
* has the ability to control plants! Her eyes also glow green when she uses her powers.
* is shy and awkward and kind of a pushover... until she very much isn't. You really, really don't want to get her to the point where she loses her patience with you.
* grew up in the realm of Solaria, specifically the grounds of Alfea College (a high school for particularly talented fairies).
* is, despite being from a different world, familiar with the technology and pop culture of this one. Fairies drive cars, post on Instagram, and read

* is 38.
* is from the Vancouver area, British Columbia, Canada.
* is therefore on Pacific Time.
* works from home, usually available after 5:30ish on weekdays and whenever on weekends, but can sneak pings during the day most times.
* hangs out in Discord a lot.
* has suckered enough people into watching Murdoch Mysteries that said Discord actually does have a support group.
* is super up for anything, whether it's serious plotty or characters just hanging out. HMU.
