MHA 15, Wednesday Evening
Watts had meant to make it to the diner and then Ms. Ingram’s yesterday, he truly had. It was just that- time had somehow gotten away from him.
Much like it had today, where before he knew it it was time to get ready and go across the hall to get Steven and walk with him to their usual Wednesday night outing to Caritas.
Which he was going to do any minute now. Really.

"Llew? It's me."
Yes, Steven had a key. But Llewellyn didn't care for surprises so there was no harm in knocking first.

Although oddly the sound did somehow seem to be further away than usual?
But the important part was that he could hear it. Now whether he could rouse himself enough to answer it, that was another question…

Seeing Llewellyn right there in the living room was unexpected. "Llew? Are you all right?"

Well, the stubble was on the longer side of how shaved he usually kept his face, but his hair looked as if it hadn’t seen a comb yet today and perhaps most telling was his waistcoat- only half buttoned and unevenly so at that.
“Steven?” he blinked, frowning slightly. “When did you arrive? Have you been here long?”

He was not. In addition to the only partially done up waistcoat, his necktie was currently nowhere to be seen.

Steven reached out to put the inside of his wrist against Llewellyn's forehead to check if he had a fever.

His forehead was definitely warm and somewhat clammy.

“What day is it?”
As if he hadn’t been ready to go to Caritas for their usual Wednesday evening outing mere minutes ago.

“But we are meant to go to the pub tonight,” he pointed out.
